Default Just installed my Tick Master Cylinder But I have a question

Just installed my New Tick master cylinder in the car to push my Monster Stage 3 clutch! I followed the instructions and Adjusted to spec.

In the instructions it states to "Remove the spring that is on the clutch pedal assembly for a better feel and quicker engagement
of the clutch." My question is am I suppose to leave the spring out? I thought the spring was needed?

and also the clutch engages right at the end of the pedal extension is that normal?

take the spring out. leave it out. you should be able to adjust it to where ever you want the pedal to engage.

but if i adjust it further to a better engagement point won't that cause it to over extend?

I have had the clutch for a while now Just upgraded to the tick master cylinder. I love the clutch, it will handle a hard launch and my daily driving. The only down fall is that it does chatter and has a little bit of a heavier clutch pedal. If i ever change the clutch I will probably change to a twin disk set up since I drive mine daily. The tick is so far so good just getting it all adjusted, Its been a long time since I have been able to bang through the gears so easily! It made my car a completely different machine!

Take the spring out, adjust the pedal to your liking. Leave it and enjoy it. The spring ruins the feel of the tick mc, I drove around with my spring in still, then I popped it out and the difference was night and day.

The Tick MC is built to not have the spring and works great without it in. I'd think that the spring would mess up the feel of the pedal.

If you spring is still good - take it out and sell it. Those things can run for $50 new and are always breaking on people with stock setups.
