Default T56 Transmission & TR6060 Magnum in stock NOW

We have one of each in stock for the first time in about 6 months!
Built/upgraded T56 trans, Stg2+ build
Has all billet keys 1-6 gears, and all bronze fork pads 1-6 & Rev & isolator cup.
Also has modded mainshaft 5/6 journals for a tight press fit of the 5/6 gear cluster. Everything is in new or like-new condition. Fully built and ready to go.

$2800 outright, OR $980 exchange starting price. Price only goes up if any non-wear parts are needed (gears/syncro assemblies).

TR6060 Magnum w/ f-body tailshaft housing w/ big bore 31-spline mainshaft. This trans has been converted to work in a 98-02 f-body. Has upgraded billet shift fork pads throughout the entire transmission as well as the upgraded 1-4 syncro rings. Includes LS7 slave cylinder, bellhousing, & 1350 slip yoke.
Most other shops sell this setup for $5000.
Our Price $4250 -or- exchange your T56 for credit. Depending on the condition, this could be anywhere from $500 to $2000 credit toward the 6060.

Send a PM if interested, as these transmissions won't last long. I will be checking messages twice daily. Local deals preferred, but will ship anywhere in the US. Thanks!

Yes basically, you could say that. Of course the mods for the TR6060 are much different than the T56, except for the fork pads. There's really not a lot you can do w/ the 6060. As far as I know, you can't get anything BUT a 31spline mainshaft, unless its the flanged mainshaft which isn't feasible to use.

Its not just regular bronze, thats all I can say

I actually should be getting some steel pads done any day now, and want to do some testing and make sure they work out okay. The only thing I'm concerned with is heat from friction, but we will see.

What kind of power will these both hold? Diff in gearing from my 02 camaro stock trans? How does the trade work? Come with a clutch? Suggestion for such for rr behind 650hp 416? I'm interested.

The T56 in your 02 Camaro has the exact same gearing as the T56 unit I have in stock. 2.66, 1.78, 1.3, 1.0, 0.74, 0.50
The TR6060 is geared lower, 3.01, 2.07, 1.43, 1.0, 0.84, 0.57

As for trading in your core, you will only pay the price to build your trans, plus the cost of the upgrades. Pricing with the modded mainshaft journals, and all upgrades starts out at $980 and goes up from there, all depending on which non-wear items have to be replaced. But if you are wanting the 6060 unit, just add the difference in price $1450.

That's a very broad question, imo too many factors come into play to determine a true power level of each trans. I first had a "6 spd inc" stage 4 "built" tranny that lasted 2 track days and 8000 miles @430rw before it started grinding gears and going bad.

I came to Jason@TDP to fix it and drove it around and daily'd the car and raced the hell out of it and did MULTIPLE 5th gear pulls (shifting to 5th at 137mph) and never once had a hiccup. Then I threw another 300rw at the car with a supercharger and have driven the car around for another 6000 miles with a few track days and again, MULTIPLE 50-180mph pulls in a row. And I still (knock on wood!) have 0 issues with the transmission he built me.

But then again I don't know how long it would have lived if I went to the track frequently and launched it hard often. Like I said, its a broad question to ask, just depends on what you want to do with the car.

Are T56 clutches a direct swap into TR6060 Transmissions? (namely Monster triple stage2)
