Default Thread size of drain plug for T-56? 1/2in NPT?

Is it 1/2 inch NPT? It's been 2 years since I changed the tranny fluid, and if I remember correctly the plug is not magnetic, so I would like to add this:

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...tic+drain+plug

Also, anyone know where to get a magnetic drain plug for the 10 bolt differential? I think it's 1/4 inch NPT, and I thought someone said to go to a lawn mower store. I'm thinking about checking NAPA since they're usually more knowledgeable than Advance Auto.

This is a 1/2 -14 NPTF plug.
BTW
The T56 already has two magnets inside.

Thanks. So the magnets are strong enough that they don't need cleaned off? Because I don't even know where they are, so they must only be accessible when you're rebuilding it.

It hard to clean them fully with the trans disassembled....no you can't clean them easily. They are trapped between the extension & maincase housings...at the bottom.
