Default Clutch Master Cylinder Replacement- which one?

My clutch pedal is soft and inconsistent even after replacing the fluid and bleeding the system. The next step is to replace the clutch master cylinder but which one should I choose? Are there any master cylinders that are known for poor quality that I should stay away from?
Thanks!

Thanks guys! Little pricey, but if it works well I can always justify spending a little extra.

Tick has good user reports. McLeod sells MC made by Wilwood that they add vehicle specific "mounting" flange and adjustable rod to.

none are cheap. I have the McLeod (wilwood) one.

How much can you really change the point of engagement with the adjustable MC? It can't be that much.. is it?

It's a huge adjustment window. You can literally adjust it to engage right off the floor to upwards of an inch or more higher than the level of the brake pedal and everywhere inbetween. (you wouldn't want it set at those points, I'm just saying there is a lot of adjustment). From everything I've read most people (even myself) like it at about the level of the brake pedal. I tried it a little above the level of the brake and it fell weird having that much throw and it didn't improve shifting at all compared to being at the level of the brake pedal so I adjusted it back down.

This isn't even a question...Tick MC all the way. Had mine installed for about a month and its been great. Install is a PITA but definitely worth every second of it.

I have a tick. nice unit and mine was also very challenging to install.

IMO, it's a good question for those who intend on going with a twin or triple disc clutch setup.

I don't understand why people think this. You cannot change the physical engagement point of the clutch with the MC shaft. All you are changing is pedal height.

Correct.

The pressure plate and where it decompresses enough to allow the clutch disc to engage the flywheel will determine this.

Steve@SNL or one of the guys from Spec can correct me if I'm wrong.
