Wont go into reverse, hard into 1st, but shifts fine WOT
Have a built T56 in a 98 T/A and the car WILL NOT go into reverse from neutral with the car running. If I turn the key off, put the shifter into reverse then start the car it will roll backwards a few inches as its cranking, but then drive in reverse fine. Also the car is hard to get into first from neutral. It will eventually go in everytime but theres a lot of resistance. The part that confuses me is that under normal driving it shifts perfect, and WOT shifting is still doable. It's not the smoothest but I can still get it everytime. I've bled my Tick Speedbleeder a few times with no help in performance. I've adjusted the rod out on the Tick master cylinder a few times and it kind of bandaids the issue for a week then its back to really difficult.
Trans rebuild has about 2,000 miles on it and the twin disk has a couple hundred more miles. Does this sound like a slave cylinder issue? Throwout bearing? Just looking for some suggestions before I pull it.
stage 2 tremec upgrade kit
new 1 ,2,3,4, gears
all new carbon fiber blocker rings
with new syhcros on all gears
new bearing kit
mcleoud dual disk clutch
tick master cylinder
pro 5.0 shifter

If the car moves while in gear and the clutch pedal pushed all the way down your clutch isn't disengaging. No issue in the trans. Rev and first are the first to have issues with a clutch that wont disengage.
The car should not move a single inch even if you rev it.
It's something hydraulic or the ToB needs a shim. I also wouldn't drive it until it's fixed. You are putting a lot of extra wear and tear on the blockers with a clutch that doesn't fully disengage.

I havent driven the car in a few weeks, but I seem to remember it doing this. Hopefully i'll be able to get it together tomorrow and try it and report back. But for the moment i'd say yes it does creep when revved in gear

Bleeding changes nothing. I talked to the previous owner and he recommended doing the same thing but it doesnt help unfortunatley. What would cause ghe clutch to not engage/disengage? Most of the components including the clutch itself have under 3000 miles on them but I dont know exactly what was replaced the last time it was out and what wasnt. Hopefully i'll be able to take a video tomorrow and show you guys

Have you contacted McLeod? I am sure that they would be willing to help with trouble shooting.
Otherwise, there are a number of things that can lead to issues with release. Have you noticed any vibration when driving? This can evidence that pressure-plate to flywheel bolts are not torqued properly/fully. You could have a bent disc which can occur during installation or shipping (I would assume that it left the manufacture with straight discs--we check our units for flatness prior to shipping). You could have a weak or failing slave or master (I know they are new but this can happen).
