Broke my mgw!!!!!
that's right, shifting to third, and snapped the allen head screw that threads down into the ball and socket that drops into the cup in the top of the trans looked down in there and it sheerd flush. no speed shifting, just making sure a Honda cervics didn't cut me off. missed third twice and thought this feels funny and pulled up on shifter stalk , and the only thing holding it was my shifter boot. does anyone know if the best shifter made has a lifetime warranty??? had it for two years and love it. does anyone know???? i'm gonna call them Monday 8/19. has anyone had this problem?? thanks ahead .the oldman....

Highly doubt it has a life time warranty, you may have to drill it out or drill & use an easy out.
More important is did you keep the "Honda cervics" from cutting you off?

This is a sad day for us MGW shifter owners.. Lol. I can't beleive it broke like that :/ they definitely SHOULD warranty it given the price we payed and the product they represent, NO shifter should actually shear like that really under any circumstances.
