t56 sitting at weird angle after swap
I put a LT1 with a t56 in my 99'. It is a long story, but whatever. I'm using a stock ls1 t56 cross member because the lt1 doesn't fit properly.
It seems like the t56 and motor are angled weird(tailshaft higher). It has made my fuel lines sit too close to the ypipe among other issues.
I know this is a bit of a specialized question, but how can I fix this?
My thoughts: thinner rubber piece that sits on the cross member.
longer bolts and washers to make the crossmember sit lower.

Thinner mount.

Or shim the crossmember.
No guarantees your driveline angles will be right ultimately.
