Default What kind of clutch should i get?

I have a 2001 Camaro z28 with 150,xxx miles on it and its in near cherry condition but I have been having small problems with the clutch every now and then and ive just decided to get a new one. But I have no idea which route to take. Its my daily driver for now but I also (occasionally) race here and there. I want it to be a street car but I also want it to be able to handle drag racing but not that often. My car is mostly stock and I don't plan on giving it more than 400 horses...but that may change I just want to be able to cruise in it. Any suggestions?

I ran down the strip w/DRs just fine with a Monster Clutch Level 2. It's a good clutch that drives like stock.

+1 on stage 2 monster. If you know you would stay stock, i would go for stage 1, but since you say there is a chance to mod in the future, id go for a stage 2 for only 50 dollars more. I currently have one and it drives realy good for a DD and will easily handle much more power for the future.

These are the 12" clutches btw.

I have a Monster Stage 2 in my daily driven (30,000-40,000 miles a year btw) C5 FRC and it drives great! A lot of researching and review reading went into ordering this clutch and now I see what the rave is. I also have the lightweight flywheel too. I think you would be very happy with a Monster Stage 1 or 2.

Honestly a Level 1 would easily get you taken care of, but a Level 2 would give you some room to grow for the future if you so choose. Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions, Chris 817-750-2000
