Default Where is my clutch oil going?

About a week ago my clutch died on me.. Realized that the clutch reservoir was empty. Filled it up a day later it was empty again filled it up again lasted for about 5 days now and it is slowing getting below the line I filled it to. No leaks under booster no leaks under tranny and no leaks behind the clutch pedal. I have no idea where it's going.

Sounded almost like my problem a week ago. I had a brand new OEM Master C go bad on me after a few days of pumping the pedal. Just happened to see the puddle finally on my floor mat. I could'nt find my leak and my car was on blocks. I was starting to think either there was a leak in the braided hose hooked to the Master or a small leak under pressure when I pumped the pedal. But I had no signs, till I looked again.
Are you able to drive it? Maybe it only leaks while driving. Maybe it's leaking out the top of the shaft of the MC and you haven't seen enough cause it's going behind your carpet.

Ill check it out.. could be when I drive it I just filled it up again.. when I peek along the back of the metal I don't see any signs of oil drips or it seeping through the carpet. gonna check it again maybe take the rug out a little just to be sure. but the walls are nice and silver.

Sounds like a case for Scooby-Doo...the case of the missing hydraulic fluid. Joking aside, there has to be evidence of a leak somewhere. If you refill the reservoir, have someone pump the pedal while you look under the car. You seem to have a good understanding of the normal places for a leak to occur so keep us posted. Thanks!

So I have been checking the fluid levels and it is still losing fluid somewhere. anyone have any idea where else it may be leaking even pulled the carpet up to see it was dropping there and nope. nothing. how can there be no trace of fluid leakage when it is apparently losing?

I know that ha. But the system is simple. I have seen the bleeder not all the way tight to just the slave is blown out. So mite want to check the bleeder first if you can.

Be sure to check the condition of the clutch assembly. Having hydraulic fluid on the disc will reduce its friction coefficient and thus lead to slippage. Let me know if you have any questions or need to order a clutch. Thanks,

Looks like you found the culprit, while you're in there whether or not you decide to upgrade the clutch I recommend installing a remote bleeder as it makes it so much easier to get it initially bled as well as keep the fluid fresh with the design of the slave being located behind the clutch assembly where all the dust gets thrown back on it and gets past the seal contaminating the clutch hydraulic fluid. Don't hesitate if you have any questions, Chris 817-750-2000
