Default T56 no engagement issue

I have a 1998 Firebird Formula ls1 with a t56 with 170k miles on it. The car seems to have the clutch stuck open. The pedal goes up and down just fine, there is no loss of fluid, and the car will not stall in first with the clutch pedal down, however it is not drive-able. The car rolls fine with no issues and there seems to be nothing wrong outside of the trans i.e. the driveshaft turns just fine. I was going to try and fix the issue by going with a new oem slave, a tick performance speed bleeder, and wildwood master cylinder. This car is mostly for fun until I decide to swap everything from this setup into my v8 Nissan 240sx. I am open to all opinions and suggestions. I am not sure to the problem but the clutch itself as well as the pressure plate are new and were working fine. The master and slave have no leaking, but it oddly enough smells like clutch fluid. I just want this get this car back on the road, thank you.

The only thing is there is no noise coming from it.

It was a bad/going slave combined with a bad/worn out clutch. I decided to go with a wilwood master cylinder, a oem slave, and a ls7 clutch with ls2 flywheel.
