Default LS1-T-56 Air Gap - How to increase it?

I just got the flywheel surfaced and put back in the car. Went to double check the air gap and right now I have basically no gap.

What are my options for increasing the air gap?

When you get your flywheel turned, you reduce the thickness, which moves the entire clutch away from the slave. When you push the clutch pedal, you may mot have enough travel anymore to establish your air gap. Shim your slave the same amount as was removed from your flywheel face to account for it.

He's saying that he needs to increase his air gap. Me thinks he might need to remeasure and verify. Like Blackbird said, turning the flywheel removes material increasing air gap. So if it was good and then now its not, you measured wrong.

I agree, make sure you're getting the slave to fully compress ie remove the spring behind release bearing if necessary to ensure it's not binding things.
