So I'm doing an LS/t56 swap in my 73 Nova. Bought a Donor car, 2002 Camaro Z28. I know in those years some came with a factory short shifter. Is there anyway to tell by looking at it or measuring the shift throw? The throw seems relatively short, but I know they weren't excessively long to begin with.

I believe the Hurst units had a different part number or stamping on them. You could probably find it through a search online or here.
