Has anyone traded a 4L60E to get their T56?? I have a built 4L60E and I'd really like to find someone to do a trade for a T56 setup without spending a ton of extra money. Has anyone done this? Is one transmission worth more than the other? That would make it super simple for both parties to have everything needed for their respective swaps. I see a lot of swaps for sale but not trades. Just curious really.

Thats how i got mine,i had a 4l60 with a pi converter,swaped it for a t56 set up but i ended up buying a monster clutch and tick master f-body package.but the drive shafts are the same,traded crossmembers,pretty easy and staight foward.had to cut my floorboard and drill out the firewall for the master.id say it was an even trade,been better if it already had a good brand clutch.There not cheap.im happy with it though. hope this helps,goodluck
