Default Was My Slave Updated?

Hey guys,

I have a 98 Trans Am with about a 10k mile old clutch replacement on the car. I just picked up the car not too long ago and I'm going to be dropping the tranny soon to change a noisy pilot bearing. Is there a way to tell if the slave was changed with an updated GM slave unit by looking at the stamping on it or what not? I asked the last owner of the car and he is not 100% sure. Thanks guys

I just bought and installed an AC Delco slave cylinder from Rock Auto and it has a metal clip where the fluid line attaches. It is a new style hydraulic line release clip. It is identical to the original one otherwise.
