Default spec vs ram vs monster chime in martin@tick

Looking at all the stage 4 clutches to handle ~750 HP but I won't be near that. I plan on laying down around 5-510 HP by ls fest I just ordered a BTR stage 4 cam and plan on doing heads soon. I want a clutch that'll hold that plus 150 shot eventually I don't wanna spend over 1200 for everything that's flywheel and master and slave cylinder as well as clutch kit. What wud u guys reccomend of the 3 brands I named please help me.

I run the Monster stage 3 clutch setup and I love it. It is good to 750 rwhp I believe.

How many miles have you put on it?

Why exactly is it garbage? I think you should back up a claim like that instead of saying someone else told you so.

I've put right at 1,000 miles on it. It's been very solid and once I got the pedal adjusted to the right height, it feels like stock. I also have the Tick master cylindar as well, which is pretty much a must have. I bought the whole setup from Tick, as they offer it in a bundle deal.

I would also like to hear more about Monster clutches being garbage. Tons of people run them and have nothing but good things to say about them. I am curious why CBI feels that way. Please elaborate.

He has some in his shop now that all the material on the clutch had been ruined and they were new clutches he said he's never had success with em. I thought they were a good brand just wanted some opinions

I'd be curious to know if these failed clutches were intalled properly and broke in the way Monster states to do. I don't doubt anything CBI says because I know those guys make the most powerful cars and trucks in Missouri.

yeah that's a bit insane. Are you making a lot of power that you need to spend a 1000 on a clutch?

Also, if a lot of people were really having problems with Monster clutches, I'd think we would hear some complaints on the forum here. I usually only hear happy customers on the forum. Plus they are on here all the time reading our threads and helping out. I'm really leaning towards them.

You might get a better price from SNL performance. If you look at other threads you should see a guy named Chris posting using the SNLPerformance nametag, and he drops his phone number too. Check it out.

Any company that has been out for long enough selling products to people that mostly abuse them (& may have other issues) will get complaints.

Had the monster stage 3 with lite flywheel for about 4 years now. I also still have a small oil leak from my crankshaft freeze plug getting a little oil on the clutch. It'll STILL bark 2nd. Like it way better than the previous spec clutch

You will be fine with the stage 3 OP. Like I said, I've been nothing but happy with my Monster stage 3.

Probably a 100 passes on my monster clutch 11 inch! Cam only set up. Garbage?!!! No. But maybe I can set up a clutch good. Here good stuff about CBI, but I do all my own work.

Few bucks more I can get the stage 4. Plus if I ever hit it with a shot that'd be dam close to maxing the stage 3
