Default transmission/shifting issues

Hi all. I have been having issues with my t56 trans on my 99 TA for a few years now. It is increasingly hard to shift. I recently had a spec stage 1 clutch installed along with a new surface on the fidanza flywheel. Now I can barely shift the car. It gets harder to shift at higher rpms and is nearly impossible to force into gear above 5k and usually grinds gears unless I wait for the rpms to go down around 2k. My question is this: would this be a clutch/slave issue or is the tranny dying? Thanks

I would bet it's the slave. Mine was/is doing something similar so I'm having the slave replaced because it's leaking because it most likely wasn't shimmed properly.

You bleed the line? Is anything leaking?

I had it done at a shop and they claimed they bled it. Been going there for 20 years so I trust them. Would a tranny shop be able to shim it properly?

Yeah they should be able to since the transmission needs to be removed anyway to work on the slave
