Default Bellhousing and Input shaft question

I'm doing a swap and I was putting the transmission and engine together, I realized installing the bell housing that one of the bolt hole is stripped on it. Should I helicoil it, I don't know if there is enough thread left on it, the thread is all gone. Can I put a longer bolt and nut through it, with locktite red. Or is that a bad idea?

I noticed some surface rust on the input shaft, how should i clean that up? Should any grease be put on it? lithium grease?

Thanks

Default

The T56 Magnum front plate deletes 1 of the 8 bolts due the Ford fork window. So not a huge deal.

It should heli-coil fine. M10-1.50.
