Default 8020 quicktime bell housing question

Hey guys, I just bought a 8020 quick time bell housing from a member, it never came with the engine block of plate, do I need the plate or am I ok to install it with out it? If I need it where is the best place to buy one, engine is a 5.3 with a t56, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I say you need the plate. It will space the bellhousing from the block correctly and protect the block if a clutch lets go. quicktime should be able to fix you up.
