Default Clutch recomendations

I'm working on my friend's car its a 91 Firebird with a 2000 LS1 and T56. He has somewhere between 400 and 500 HP he uses the car mostly for autocross, road course, and street. Right now he has a stock clutch that is wasted he does have a Tick MC. What clutch would you guys recomend $ is of less concern than performance. We will also be doing some top end modifications in the next few months and hope to get over 500 HP, he is also considering an American Powertrain T56 Magnum while the trans is out.

Monster stage 2 rated for 550 but if he's getting close to the mid 500's I'd get a stage 3 to be safe and have room to grow.

I can vouch for the Monster stage 3, as that's what I have in my WS6. Like they said, it's rate at 700 rwhp, but in my opinion, it can handle more than that without batting an eye. I can say that after the break in period, this clutch setup feels like the stock one did. I also have the Tick mater cylinder and speed bleeder, as it all came as one kit from Tick when I ordered it. I would honestly go the Monster stage 3 over the 2, just because you never know if/when you'll want more power. Room to grow is a good thing with clutches and injectors.

If it's any consolation, the guy who just set the fastest GM 6 speed record (there is a video in the Multimedia section on here) uses a Monster clutch. At least that's what he says in the video.
