Default Speed bleeder line

I bought a Diamond stage 2 clutch a while back and I am getting ready to install it.When I remove the bleeder part on the slave cylinder to install the new speed bleeder line,do I use something on the threads that go on to the slave?
Like thread tape or something? I did a search and didn't come up with anything. I would hate to have it leak and have to pull the tranny back out.

I didn't and I'm not leaking fluid. Just make sure its snug and don't cross-thread.

I didn't use anything and haven't had a leak yet. I'm pretty rough on the car too. Clutch gets bled at least four times a year and has been out of the car once since installed, when I blew up the engine.

With my speedway bleeder came some crush washers. Without the washers, it leaked like mad. Not sure if all speed bleeders are the same... If you're supposed to use crush washers, use crush washers.

I didn't use the ones with my tick speed bleeder. Went to bleed the clutch yesterday and there is fluid leaking everywhere...

Yah mine was leaking when I installed it but only at a rate of about a reservoir every 2 weeks so I just refilled it for 6mo because I didn't want to take it apart again to fix it

Did you have the crush washer installed when it leaked?

Yah, I just didn't tighten the line enough to the fitting so I had a leak
