Lost 5th gear? wtf So I have an untouched 61k mile t56, spec 3+, Tick master/bleeder, MGW, "anti venom" mod, and AMSOIL synchromesh fluid. Obviously the only race gears are 1-4 and I have been having trouble shifting 3 and 4 for awhile at high rpm. Expected after years of racing. But recently out of nowhere bumming around town low rpm 5th scratches horrible, will NOT go in. Every other gear is great except for 3 and 4 above about 5000rpm. How does this happen? I have NEVER done a hard 4 to 5 shift, its always shifted about 1500-2000 rpm slow and easy
