Default Pressure plate torque specs

I have done some searches to find out the torque specs on the pressure plate. I am using a diamond stage 2 clutch on my 2000 ta. some say 51 foot lbs and some other people say 25 foot pounds. I have heard of some people breaking the bolts at 51. I am using stock bolts. The books say 51. What do you guys think? I would rather be safe than sorry.

If the book says 51, I'd torque them to 51. At 25 you're asking for problems. You absolutely do not want a clutch to come visit inside the car.
