Default Mcleod RXT engagement question.

I just had one installed and it engages really high up like probably 85% of the way up. It holds but the engagement being that high is worrying me.

It's about 450 miles on it now. It has been this way ever since the install. I haven't gone anymore than about 50% throttle but it's holding.

I like it fine but have't beaten on it yet . Very soft for a clutch to hold 1000 rwtq. The only concern was how high it engages but from what I have heard/read it seems to be a common twin disk thing.

I thought the same thing when i installed mine last month, im a lil over 300 mi and its all been city miles but it engaged way high. I have a tick MC so i brought it down some cus i felt like i was riding the hell out of it.

Really light pedal though, i love it so far.

I don't mid the high engagement as long as it holds but I get worried when a clutch releases that high up.

On a side note I sent Mcleod an email asking about this a week ago and they never responded. What great customer service.
