Default T56 upgrades

Anyone know of a place that makes your t56 good up to 1000-1200ft/lbs of torque? Or just parts for an upgrade so I can do it myself?

and if I do that, how much can I sell the stock internals for?

and before anyone gets upset, I tried a search, but mostly classifieds came up and there were a lot of other results that just had the words t56 or upgrade in it.

that's a tall order for a T56. A Face plated, viper shaft, etc may get you close

as mentioned Tick is one place to discuss your needs with

http://www.tickperformance.com/tick-...camaro-firebird/

D&D Performance would be another.

You may need to be talking about the Magnum to build from to reach your goals

You're going to serious need to consider a T56 Magnum/TR6060 for those power levels.

well the way I'm looking at my build, I'll be at about 800-900ft/lbs but I'd like a 100-300ft/lb cushion

the clutch I'm looking at is good to 1500ft/lbs O.O

OH and I'm using the e-force supercharger, so it wont be at that level 100% of the time, just when i romp on it. so it'll be around 550-600 without the supercharger, and 800 or so with. (based on another members build, his is a ls3 402, mine is a ls3 417)

so I looked on the tiick website! THANKS GUYS! 5k for a stage 5 magnum 6060 with no core charge! If I can find a cheap t56 or a parts car I think I'll sell them the core to lower the cost a bit! +1 to all of you! haha

kind of a silly question... on the tick website it says that the magnum they have is only for ls1.... should I email and ask if it will bolt up to an LS3?

It will bolt up just fine, but you need to use an ls1 style pilot bearing.

RSG Tranzilla is another option, with different gear ratios if they might suit better than the 6060/Magnum based units.

No sense using an old T56 at all really unless you were on a very very tight budget and just wanted an upgrade of your own unit.. They have weaker gears, shafts, less able synchro mech's and parts are getting harder to find for them.
