93 LT1 vs 94-97 LT1 T56 difference? I picked up an LT1 t56 that i plan on converting to mate to a vortec 5.3
I'm not sure if the tranny is from a 93 or 94 firebird formula. could someone tell me some differences in the transmissions and what i could look for to verify if my trans is a 94 and will work for conversion. I've spent hours trying to look up information but have been unsuccessful so I thought id ask.
