Default LS1 Camaro T56 input shaft

I've been searching but haven't had any luck. Does anybody know a place that has the LS1 Camaro T56 Tremec input shaft in stock? I've seen some aftermarket shafts but would rather have the peace of mind with a OE input.

Or if others have used the new aftermarket shaft, any issues?

Zero issues thus far with the after market shaft.

For that sort of thing, probably best to phone around. Maybe even look for someone selling a broken trans ?

I have an extra one right now.
I ordered one from Tick and they told me they were o/s. Found another source and ordered it from them. My order from Tick arrives and they shipped the input shaft also.
You can have it for what I paid for it plus shipping.
PM me.
I accept paypal.

If you don't end up buying his ^^^^ I know that Tick has used shafts in stock that they will sell for a pretty good price. If you want knew though I suggest taking this man up on his offer.

PM replied.

And thanks to Jeremie for his comments.
This is a brand new Tremec shaft. I am rebuilding/converting an LT1 into an LS1 for my Vette project. Just don't need 2 of them.......

I'm going to go ahead and bump this up. I got cocky and didn't order an input shaft for my rebuild....now I need one, a few places look like they may have aftermarket shafts, although Tick won't sell me one.

Anywho, leads on a genuine or aftermarket one?

Well, went with an aftermarket one, hoping to have it in by the end of the week and I guess we'll see how she holds up.

Any specific aftermarket better than the others?

Also curious if there is anything else that should be done with only replacing the input shaft? Haven't found much on this topic or how to's.
