Car won't start when i depress clutch pedal
I am having issues with my TA. When I press the clutch to the floor to start the car it doesn't do anything. I turn the key and nothing happens. I have to press it numerous times to get it to crank. The car starts fine once it decides it wants to start but I cant figure out why it does this. Is there a connection on the pedal or something that could be loose? Can i disengage it so I don't have to depress the clutch to start the car? Its driving me nuts!

I had the same issue a couple of years ago. I seem to remember it being either the neutral safety switch being on its last leg or the starter relay. Either way it was a simple fix. It has been a couple of years ago so it's not fresh in my mind, but to check for the NSS you can try starting the car while letting off of the clutch slowly to see if that helps. Hope some of this might help you.

I had the same issue. I just cut the 2 wires going to the NSS and stripped the ends. twisted them together. little electrical tape over the connection
pros- I can start my car without having to get into it to press the clutch pedal.
cons- Cruise control doesn't work anymore.
I never park my car in gear so I don't have to worry about it being started in gear and no one else drives it.
