Default New to the 2011 6 speed

I'm just wondering what the 6 speed manual in the 2011 SS should feel/shift/ and sound like. I just picked the car up from a Chevy dealer, certified warrantied, and it has 60K miles. I basically got to drive it to and from work today, that's it so far.

The trans shifts smooth and solid. The clutch is a little strange to me. It's firm, but it almost seems like an on/off switch. Is this common? It doesn't appear to have any slip issues. I feel like it's just a matter of getting used to it. My last 6 speed was the ZF in my '96 Vette, this is much different. Oh, and when I do 'jerk' it a bit, there is some clunking noise from the drive train, I imagine that's to be expected until I get the feel for it.

I'll get ahold of my brother and see if he can get a service report for me. The car seems like new for those miles.
