Default ls3 clutch

So I just got a 2000 firehawk with a ls3 having serious clutch problems the clutch pedal is about a inch lower than the brake pedal not sure if this is normal. The clutch pedal has very little movement. Clutch slips in 6th giving it a little gas. And when in 1st clutch to the floor rev up and car moves forward I've tried to bleed the system from the mc no change was told the clutch is a new centerforce dual friction. not sure what to do at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Are the hydraulics stock? I suspect a bad master cylinder and/or worse, contaminated clutch from a leaky slave.

Im not sure about the slave cylinder the master is adjustable so dont think that is stock but not sure what brand. The clutch lets out at the very top so I tried to adjust the rod under the pedal still no luck

that sounds like the slave is leaking. If it is, it's leaking all over your friction material.

There's really no sign of anything leaking under the transmission. I guess I need to just go ahead and pull the trans to see what's going on

If it helps, I have an adjustable master cylinder, and the clutch pedal sits about an inch lower than the brake pedal.
