Default thinking of a TICK

i have a spec stage 3 clutch installed with less than 2500 miles since install. the clutch is barely broken in and the take up is pretty close to the floor; it wasnt shimmed. ive gotten used to it and dont mind it at all but im thinking of upgrading the master cylinder to a TICK brand and am wondering if clutch engagement will be closer to the floor then it is now if installed.

the tick can be adjust to flow more fluid so in essence you can adjust how far the slave pushes the pressure plate. It will change where the clutch engages slightly. Do the tick man you will never regret it, the way it makes the car shift is well worth it

I vote for the Tick too. In my opinion its a must have if you have an aftermarket performance clutch.

If/when you get it, start with the car off and the rod adjusted all the way down. The pedal will be very low. Adjust the rod until you can shift easily into all gears with engine off and no further. Start the car and with engine idling, go back through all the gears. typically, you'll need another turn on the turnbuckle to lengthen the rod to get it to shift easily. Don't go too far, you can wreck your slave. Most common final position is clutch pedal is about an inch lower than brake pedal. Weird at first, but once you get used to consistent shift performance, you'll love it.
