Default Rebuilt t56 grinding gears

I bought a rebuilt t56 from a fellow forum member on here and installed it in my fox body. Everything is good to go except when I go to let the clutch out after putting it in gear it starts to grind until I press the clutch pedal back in. Is there a problem with the transmission? I almost thought that the input shaft is smaller than the clutch disk or isn't the same number of spline but I'm pretty sure they are all the same correct? Thanks in advance for your help guys...I'm really trying to figure this out and actually get this car driving. VERY frustrating...

could be either the pilot bearing , or TOB or even the inout shaft bearing. Does it do it driving at all? What about if you push the clutch in and let it out in nuetral? I'd suspect pilot first then tob. Eiher way the trans needs to be pulled
