Default Clutch Options

Hi All,
Kinda off the wall question but here we go.

1998 M6 Z28. I need to do a clutch replacement. Very much a budget job here. I had someone offer me for a unbeatable price (free) a tilton 7" twin plate racing clutch. It is made for a SBC and a T10 style trans.

Is that doable on the LS platform or are they 2 totally different animals? The racing set up is a hydraulic set up like the Z. I just dont know how much of that stuff can transfer over and how much cannot.

Thanks as always for any help.

No it won't work at all.

If you are looking for a budget clutch we have the ls7 clutch available. http://www.coloradospeed.com/chevrolet-performance-lsxls7-clutch-kit-w-nodular-iron-flywheel-p-5396.html
Or the step up from there is the Mantic ER2 combo with cutting edge slotted pressure plate.
