Default clutch pedal adjustment rod???

99 z28 I got in to drive it and the aluminum rod that goes from the clutch pedal to the firewall was stripped. I am having trouble finding the part the dealerships tell me to buy the whole master kit. I was wondering if anyone has had any issues with this stripping out and if anyone knows of a site to buy a new one or maybe if they make a steel replacement instead of aluminum.

I'm not sure that's a stock master cylinder. Stock is not adjustable

Sounds like that is not a stock unit. Either way, IMO no one should be putting a stock MC in an F-body (assuming that's what you have).
