With a pilot bearing puller and a slide hammer. I think any auto parts store will loan them like autozone or advance.

I use this one from Autozone loan a tool. Blind hole puller. I use a short piece of wood closet rod and a BFH to drive in the new one

EDIT: OOPS TOLD NOT TO DO THIS > Smooshing a piece of bread in will slowly push it out. Grease too. Look on the YouTubes for some demo vids.

Don't do this on an LS! There's a cup plug in the back of the crank that will be dislodged into the crankcase, also causing a big engine oil leak all over your new clutch...

^^^^^^^^THIS!!!!!

OP

AS MENTIONED THERE IS A FREEZE PLUG WHICH CAN (READ WILL) PUSH IN BEFORE THE BRARING IS PUSHED OUT....AND YOU WILL HAVE TO OPEN UP THE MOTOR TO FIX THAT.

Older Gen SBC yes, you could use the grease/bread/wet toilet paper method

Thanks for the correction! I did not realize this, and I was going to do this in a week.
