Default Clutch issue (Monster LT1 Twin Disc)

Last fall I took my car on a cruise. There was a lot of stop and go. By the end of the cruise my clutch pedal only needed to be pressed about an inch to full release the clutch. I don't feel it slipping and it fells like it grabs hard when you release the pedal. I spoke to Monster about this. They said the clutch does not take a lot to release. When I first installed the clutch it released about the same as the previous Textrilla clutch. Any suggestions or in put?

My LT1-R releases at the very top of the travel and holds 900 rwhp. I think all twin disks release high.

My RPS releases lower than stock. Possibly, it's a difference in master cylinder set up?

Every twin disk I've ever driven has released right near the top because of the two disks.

Hm I just put a Monster LT1-S and it seems to engage almost the same as my stock clutch, same throw and about same pedal pressure.

Mine was engaging around the same as a stock would have. It just started this after about 1000 miles

My stock LS7 engages right at the tip top... I literally JUST had a new GM Master put in bs it was a recall item for my car that was never performed (Hey, free is free)

I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Every clutch I've had release at a fairly similar and normal height.

From single, twin and triple plate clutches.

Currently using an ACT twin and it just feels like any normal clutch.
