t56 not shiftng into 5th? hello, I am having shifting issues with my t56 it is 1998 trans am with 140k miles, it sometimes has trouble shifting into 1-3 when the trans is cold but after 2min of driving 1-3 work great is that something serious? ok the real problem during WOT it doesn't like to shift into 4 but if you shift slowly 4 works, but 5th doesn't work at all it just grinds at any rpm range, and six is also fine. So my question is, is this a synchro issue or possibly something else, I just bought a bare rebuilt transmission, so I would like to make sure its not an issue with something else before I install.
