Can you help me identify this part ! ? I need your help to
1. Identify/name this part
2. Part number #
3. Where can I source this item?
It's the rubber bushing? Seal? Do not know exactly but it's the black item right before the speedometer gear that slides right after it in the output shaft. Also do I even need it/what's it's purpose? This is a t56 out of a 2005 GTO

Its a plug put in from the factory to seal the unit prior to installation. The driveshaft yoke pushes it in upon installation. Its not a required part but does come in handy to reuse if you want to refill the unit before installing it.
