98 z28 shifting problem at high rpms

Default 98 z28 shifting problem at high rpms

hey guys I know this problem probably has come up all but about two months ago this problem start and has progressively got worse where when I'm doing normal daily driving it. it drives fine but the minute I rail on it it won't shift in the higher rpms past 5500 or won't go in to gear any suggestions would be great guys I'm about to buy a brand new slave with a new booster oem parts to see if it fixes the problem thanks guys

very common problem.

for best help list age and components for master , slave , clutch , flywheel.

is your clutch heavier than stock ? (LS7 etc..)

does your clutch have a self adjusting pressure plate ?

weight and self adjusting are the two most often mentioned clutch related reasons for shift blocking , I also battle with with getting blocked out above 500 with my LS7 clutch , it seems better when I keep fresh fluid in the hydraulics....

thanks I appreciate it man I just replaced my slave and master cylinder today so fingers crossed it fixes this I'm about to bleed it now and i have stock everything for my clutch flywheel pressure plate
