Anyone know what size bolts and length that hold down the shifter down to the trans. In the process of getting the pro 5.0 back on the trans for some reason the bolts won't screw with starting to bind. Trans was just rebuilt.

Are you re-installing the original shifter bolts? If so there may be rtv in the holes that needs cleaned out.

From what I know these were the originals when I pulled the trans and motor. I set the bolts with the shifter but seem to be wrong. I have cleaned the bolt threads and the trans is a rebuilt. The holes look good. I may have accidentally placed these bolts with the pro 5.0 shifter.

Ended getting some new bolts. If anyone needs to know the size/thread. 8mm x 1.25
