psshhh sound when pushing clutch in

psshhh sound when pushing clutch in i have a 6 speed 98 camaro ss and it's been making a pssshhh sound. It only makes the sound when the clutch is pushed in. my first thought was a vacuum leak but i have no loss of power in any way and i still have very good miles per gallon. The sound comes from the front drivers side. Thanks in advance for any help given.

Check the dust cover on the driver side. It probably fell off

Nope just get it off the ground. Front side of bellhousing above oil filter

Nope. I took mine off to help get fresh air in the bellhousing and prevent dust buildup. it's how I recognized the sound you typed. LOL
