Sick T-56 in to see the Doctor...
The pilot bearing had shattered and that in conjunction with knocking the pad off the 5-6 fork, and the lack of a good shifter and quadrant caused the following:
26 spline input shaft/bearing and shim kit
Brass pads for all forks
Syncro Assemblies (all three)
Billet Syncro dogs
Dog box syncro kit (carbon fiber)
5th and 6th gear in .74 and .50 (ala Viper) and main shaft gear.
5-6 shifting fork (steel)
Output shaft bushing
Pilot bearing
Centerforce DF clutch and pressure plate (the old one was fried)
3rd gear
It's looking like around 2600 +/- 300 to "Get er done". Most in parts.
The tranny oughta be good for more than I'm putting down for a while though and she'll be ready for me to throw in the 4.10's later. I like the idea of the Auburn electric locker too. Flip a switch as ya roll out of the waterbox and go from limited slip to full spool.

Are you doing the build yourself? If its for your 03 cobra you will need a new mainshaft for the different OD gears. Prolly need to go to a larger OD shaft/ spline too.All 5/6 forks are iron already.Whats a dog box synchro kit. A dog box would not have a synchro. Are you gluing the brass pads on?

Nah, a tranny shop is putting it together. The Liberty Gears guy call 'em dogbox syncros. I'm not sure how the brass pads are going on, I just break 'em these days, I don't build 'em anymore.
