I think Borg-Warner=Tremec in this case...
The older tranny has the wrong length input shaft to fit the LS1 engines. The Ford tranny also has a different length shaft.

the 98 and up also use a diff style hydraulics adn they use a different style clutch set up too
i have a teremec lt1 style t56 in my garrage, so it means nothing cuz one company bought the other, but i dont remember who it is
