Default Adjustable Master

I am 5'8" and am having a hard time getting the feel for my clutch. I have to let it about halfway up for any engagement to be felt. How much would an adjustable master help with having the clutch engage with the pedal closer to the floor? I'd like it to start engaging around an inch maybe and inch and a half. Rev it up and slide your foot off of the clutch and hold on for one hell of a ride.

The adjustable master only controls where the pedal is. Has nothing to do with where the clutch engages. I know thats stupid but thats how it goes. If you made it where the clutch engaged closer to the floor than the pedal will be close to the floor. If that makes any sense.
