Default Yet another sucsesfull Textrailia clutch install!

Just finished doing my Texttrailia clutch this weekend, did the five minute reverse bleed Pete told me about, dropped the the car after everything was bolted up,started the car and guess what the gears go in like sliceing thru butter(stock master cylinder). drove the car and it feels awsome A buddy of mine has the same clutch and he beat the crap out of it the past weekend and had no problems.

What is this "5 minute reverse bleeding" you talk about?

Yes, please do tell. How is your pedal pressure? I'm posting a topic about my install, and I seem to be having some bleeding issues. Thanks!

I had a bad expeirence with bleeding the clutch the conventional way by pumping the pedal and realeasing preasure but that took too long and made a mess so I installed a brake hose with a brake bleeder fitting on one end went out and bought a big plastic suringe at pep boys, attached a small hose(needs to be a tight fit) filled the seringe, took all air bubbles out and pushed the fluid thru, the fluid will come out thru the fluid res. just keep taking it out with a turkey baster so it doesn't over flow, got in the car and pumped the pedel a few times and whala, your done! pedal preasure feels pretty good, actually close to stock. I drove the car feels great.I have apx. 1 inch of pedal play.
