Default Could anything have of broken?

Ok so I put a post in the engine section, now im wondering about the trans. Took the car full throttle thru 1st-3rd, went to go into 4th and hit 2nd it was in 2nd for a second b4 i nailed the clutch back in. Ok so the carnage, bent pushrods and valves and valves wacked the pistons. Now just wondering would any damage have happened to the trans itself? I know theres a couple of hot spots on the pressure plate (turned it blue in spots) but how bout internally? anything? please say no

Probably no damage to the trans. What makes you think you bent pushrods/valves?

your transmition should be fine it would only be damaged if you constantly did that or took it from say 5th gear and put it back in first but even then it would take more wear and tear for it to be screwed up

Check out the clutch disc carefully. An overspeed( it had one) can cause out of balance/ segments to come loose. Vibe & hard shifting could result (not fully releasing )
