Default Cost of a T56??

Is this worth it.. $900 for a T56 out of a 2000 SS with 20k miles on it?

Just the trans.. Nothing else.. Not even a shifter...

i paid 850 for mine like that, by the time you get everything eldse your back to 12-1500 so its not bad at all, but thats just me

Is there anything wrong with it? If there is nothing wrong with it that's not a bad price. It's getting hard to even get a decent core for <$500

Tippmann, what you mean by everything else? Cause im looking to do a conversion on my car. So is this a good start?

Thanks to everyone. The trans came out easy, didn’t need to drop the exhaust, jacking the crank pull a little gave enough angle to clear.

Unfortunately the QuickTime/Holley scattershield came in not SFI rated so a delay sending it back, I ordered it in September and was back ordered. My distributor is working with them to remedy that. The 9” is in and
new driveshaft made already.

I think you replied to the wrong thread. Let me guess, you’re using the mobile site. It’s terrible. When you scroll down it just takes you to a completely different thread instead of the bottom of the current one. This forum software is terrible.
