Default Help!!!!!!!! Questions?????

Does it take any special tools to get tranny apart to fix/change sychros and shift fork if necessary? Can I leave the Bell Housing and clutch etc. on engine? Are there any special instuctions to follow so I don't have to learn the hard way and cause more damage? I am fairly skilled in Mechanics but have never take apart a transmission. I have rebuilt engines that ran good. Should I buy a book as a reference to follow? Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you can take it out and leave the bell on. You will need a clutch aligment tool if it offcenters itself which it shouldnt.
