We're trying to install the master cylinder hydraulic line into the slave cylinder port. It will not go in.

Should we crack the bleeder open?

I've heard that it helps, but I was able to get mine on with some pretty significant force and a pair of leather gloves.

I didn't have to apply that much force to get the line in. Are you just replacing the master and did not drop the tranny?

Putting in a new motor in DragonZ28s car. Tranny was bolted to the new engine. Engine/tranny installed in the car. This is the last connection, plugging the master cylinder hydraulic line into the slave connection. It just want to go in.

I would make sure none of the prongs inside the quick disconnect on the slave are not bent. I never had any problems connecting it.

Open the bleeder on the slave and try that. It helps to relieve pressure sometimes.

The bleeder valve on the slave must be open in order to plug in the line.

hmm...mine went in with ease. i just found the hole and pushed.....not hard at all either.

Where is the valve on the slave? I'm having trouble inserting the m/c line too.

Cracking the bleeder will help but it is not needed. Put an open ended wrench around the braided line on top of the quick disconnect fitting so you can apply more force and then just push.
