Default Anyone have a picture of the throwout bearing?

I received many pieces for my t56 swap and the throwout was left in the pressure plate. I was just wanting to compare mine to a complete one to make sure it wasnt damaged or missing anything. Anyone have a picture of a throwout bearing either in the pp or by itself?

I'm confused. What do you mean the throwout bearing was left in the pressure plate. The TO bearing is mounted on the slave. Here's a pic from Ferocity02's post showing his clutch parts.

if the t/o bearing is in the pressure plate then you have an lt1 style clutch kit

they use a reverse pull style clutch

lt1 stlye PP

ls1 style PP

correct, the swap is an lt1 tranny. Tippman243, do you have a closer picture of the throwout for the lt1, maybe from the opposite side that the fork mounts on? thanks

Heh...lot of good it did. He never said he was working on an LT1 until Tippman started asking questions.

A dead giveaway to someone that has worked on LT1's, which doesn't include me.
