Default Tranny locked up- - what is it

I was posting another thread earlier this week on the question of what to do with the master cylinder (drill mod) to fix the tranny not entirely disengaging from third gear, and sometimes not proplerly engaging. Now, in second it is entirely locked, no comming out of second, no nothing.. Is this still an issue with the master cylinder or slave?? or does this sound like an actual tranny issue??

if the shifter will not physically move, its an internal tranny issue

If it is stuck with the engine off then it is in the tranny. If you can't move it when it is running then it is a hydraulic issue. Hope that answers your question.

mine did the same thing and it was a bent shift fork. It would stick in 2nd and 4th. just rock the car back and fourth while it is not on and it should come out of 2nd.
